Couples should consider, but check the details
The place was clean, and the staff was nice enough. They even let us chill in our room even though we were late on checkout. The breakfast, though it left something to be desired, was decent enough for a quick bite to start the day.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The carpeting in the halls needs fixing!!! Also, the remote control for the TV didn't work properly, which was incredibly frustrating during my stay. Cleaning products used in the rooms were overly strong, making it uncomfortable!!!

I enjoyed my stay, especially the easy access to riverfront park, just a short walk away, and the vibrant river hills mall, which made it perfect for my city strolls and shopping. the staff were friendly and the hotel had a clean lobby that created a welcoming atmosphere. but the bathroom could have used a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness.

We hit up North Links Golf Course and the trails around the area for some awesome hiking. The rooms were clean, and the atmosphere was great for our group. Bonus, Mankato's Annual Ribfest was happening, and it was delicious!
The breakfast was pretty basic—just grab and go unless you wanted waffles. I was hoping for more options like eggs or bacon.
